Child Protection and Vulnerable Adults policy

Cycling Time Trials (CTT) has a duty of care to safeguard all children and vulnerable adults invoved in time yrialling. All children have a right to protection, and the needs of disabled children and others who may be particularly vulnerable must the taken into account. CTT will ensure the safety and protection of all children and vulnerable adults involved in time trialling through adherence to the relevant guidelines adopted by CTT.

A child is defined as under the age of 18 (The Children Act 1989)

The aim of the CTT Child protection and Vulnerable Adults policy is to promote good practice:

In providing children, young people and vulnerable adults with appropriate safety and protection.

To allow all Staff/Volunteers to make informed and confident responses to specific protection issues.
